格隆汇 January 7th｜Investment bank Truist released a report, initiating coverage on big data service provider Palantir with a "Buy" rating and a target price of $223. Palantir's stock price has surged more than 1.2 times over the past year. Truist acknowledges that Palantir has a significant valuation premium, but believes it has tremendous opportunities in driving government and enterprise adoption of general artificial intelligence (GenAI). The report points out that Palantir's momentum has been significantly strengthened by the launch of its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), with annual revenue growth accelerating over the past several years and a greater proportion of that growth converting into operating profit margin. The company's revenue growth far exceeds that of most software companies, with no signs of slowing in the short term. In the past two quarters, U.S. government contract revenue has grown 50% year-over-year, while commercial revenue growth has accelerated to 73%. Although most of Palantir's growth has occurred in the United States, it is expected that more overseas commercial and government contracts will support long-term growth.
