Golden Ten Data reported on January 4th that on the evening of January 3rd, Lei Jun conducted a live stream to disassemble Xiaomi's second vehicle model, YU7, addressing public concerns about the materials used in car manufacturing. He also revealed that Xiaomi Auto's total deliveries in 2025 are expected to exceed 410,000 units, with a delivery target of 550,000 units for 2026. Lei Jun stated that he will devote more energy to the automotive business this year, and that the delivery target should be neither too high nor too low, thus it is set at 550,000 units, hoping to surpass this achievement by the end of 2026. Lei Jun also mentioned that "small print marketing" is a bad industry practice and Xiaomi will make changes; he admitted feeling helpless about being slandered, but will take complaints and reports seriously, pay attention to real user feedback, and will not tolerate rumors or defamation. In addition, Lei Jun refuted the rumor that "Xiaomi does not allow farmers to sell millet."
