X product lead responds to concerns about crypto asset query backend: The API used will be able to process almost any on-chain minted content in near real-time.
According to Odaily, Nikita Bier, X Product Lead and Solana advisor, previously revealed that Smart Cashtags are currently under development. Some users in the crypto community questioned the backend for crypto asset queries, stating that some small-cap crypto assets not yet listed on major exchanges might not be searchable, and they would ultimately have to switch to DEXs for queries. In response, Nikita Bier stated that the API (Application Programming Interface) used by the X platform will be able to process almost any on-chain minted content in near real-time. Additionally, when asked by users whether it would be possible in the future to conduct crypto trading on X using self-custody wallets or even CEX widgets, Nikita Bier did not give a clear response and only replied with a "watching" emoji.
