Glonghui, February 25th|According to Bloomberg, based on a government statement, after Trump's country-specific tariffs were overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court and subsequently new tariff measures were introduced under different legal grounds, the main objectives of negotiations between Switzerland and the United States remain unchanged. The statement said that the Swiss Federal Council was informed of the preliminary conclusions on February 25th and will discuss further progress in one of its upcoming meetings. Under the current negotiation mandate framework, ongoing negotiations still aim to secure a stable environment for Swiss companies in the U.S. market and to improve it where possible.
