Osmosis releases new proposal to migrate to Cosmos Hub, OSMO to be converted to ATOM within a specified window
Foresight News reports that Osmosis has published a major proposal to the Cosmos ecosystem, aiming to bring Osmosis directly into Cosmos Hub. If approved by the governance of both chains, Osmosis DEX will natively migrate to the Hub, thereby unifying liquidity, governance, and security on a single chain.
Except for undeployed OSMO in the Osmosis community pool, all circulating OSMO will be eligible to convert to ATOM within a designated six-month window. Currently, this is approximately 665.1 millions OSMO. The conversion rate will be 0.0355 ATOM for 1.998 OSMO, based on the 30-day TWAP of ATOM:OSMO price as of March 11, 2026 (the time of the public forum proposal).
The Cosmos Hub community pool currently holds about 10.11 millions ATOM. This means that roughly 85% of the required ATOM is already funded. The remaining approximately 1.75 millions ATOM accounts for about 0.35% of the total ATOM supply, equivalent to less than two weeks of staking emissions. The proposal does not introduce any ongoing emissions or structural inflation changes. The conversion window will remain open for six months. At the end, any unclaimed ATOM will be returned to the Cosmos Hub community pool.

Report: ECB officials tend to favor a rate hike in December, with inflation outlook being the key variable
According to media reports, officials from the European Central Bank generally believe that, based on current data and the economic impact of the Middle East war, if the inflation situation does not improve, the European Central Bank will raise interest rates by 25 basis points in December. Currently, the market is pricing an 85% probability of a 25 basis point rate hike by the ECB in December. Analysts note that although the ECB has left room for another rate increase in December, the Governing Council is laying the groundwork to end the current tightening cycle.
