First-quarter commercial airplane revenue was $9.2 billion, below the anticipated $10.08 billion. Boeing stated it still expects the heavily delayed 737 Max 7 and Max 10—the smallest and largest models in its bestselling Max series—to receive certification later this year and begin deliveries in 2027. In a note to employees, CEO Kelly Ortberg wrote: “Despite some challenges, I am proud of how our team came together, overcame difficulties, and kept us on track with our annual plan. When we work as a team, the achievements our company can realize are truly remarkable.”
