2026 May 19, the bankruptcy court responsible for adjudicating the case formally approved the company’s global settlement agreement and the final debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing order. This ruling marks a significant milestone in Twin Hospitality Group’s bankruptcy restructuring process. The approval of the global settlement agreement signifies that the company and its major creditors have reached a legally binding consensus on the debt restructuring plan, clearing obstacles for the orderly advancement of the subsequent restructuring program. At the same time, the court’s approval of the final DIP financing order is critical. DIP financing allows the company to secure new operating funds during bankruptcy protection, enabling it to maintain its core business, pay key suppliers, and retain employees, thereby creating possibilities for a value-maximizing restructuring. The finalization of this order ensures Twin Hospitality Group has stable financial liquidity support during its restructuring transition period.Taken together, these two court orders outline a clearer restructuring path for Twin Hospitality Group. The company is expected to gradually stabilize its operations under court supervision and creditor support, ultimately achieving a business revival.

On October 8, Levi Strauss (LEVI.N) shares fell 1.3% in pre-market trading to $19.25 after the company reported lower-than-expected sales in the U.S. and Europe. BTIG commented: “This quarter, the European direct-to-consumer (DTC) business was hit by unusually warm weather, but as temperatures return to normal, foot traffic and sales trends have improved, maintaining a positive outlook in early Q4.” The brokerage also noted that the company remains strong in wholesale, e-commerce, and market share in jeans, but its “back-to-school” marketing campaign did not meet expectations. Benefiting from tariff refunds on Wednesday, the company raised its annual profit forecast and is betting on strong demand for its premium jeans and sweaters during the holiday season. Sixteen analysts have an average “buy” rating; the median price target is $27, according to LSEG. The stock has risen 6% year-to-date as of the previous close.
