Foresight News reports that HM Revenue & Customs in the United Kingdom has classified cryptocurrency lending and liquidity pools as "no gain, no loss" transactions, thereby deferring the payment of capital gains tax until actual disposal. This policy will take effect in April 2027 and is expected to impact around 700,000 people.
