North Korean hackers linked to Consensys previously worked at protocols such as Ankr and Blueberry Protocol
Foresight News reports that, according to the Security Alliance's page on Lazarus Group members, North Korean hacker Mauro Liu, who is linked to Consensys, previously worked at protocols such as Ankr, Blueberry Protocol, Clover Network, Harmony, and DEPO.
Earlier, Foresight News cited Cointelegraph, which reported that Consensys introduced a software developer earlier this year through a "reputable third-party service provider," only to later discover the developer had ties to North Korea. Using the pseudonym Tyler Knapp, the developer had access to Consensys systems for about a month. Consensys' Chief Legal Officer Matt Corva clarified that the developer was not a Consensys employee but had collaborated in a consultant capacity. Once the threat was discovered, Consensys immediately revoked access and conducted a thorough investigation, confirming that no assets or data were stolen and no malicious code was deployed.
