According to Jinse Finance, on Tuesday, cloud computing service providers saw gains, with Riot Platforms (RIOT.US) surging over 11% after reaching a $9.1 billion computing power agreement with Anthropic. Hut 8 (HUT.US) jumped more than 5%, while CoreWeave (CRWV.US), NEBIUS (NBIS.US), and IREN (IREN.US) climbed nearly 2%. According to reports, sources revealed that Anthropic has signed a long-term cloud computing contract worth $9.1 billion with Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms, with the agreement spanning 20 years. This is one of several large-scale computing power procurement deals recently signed by Anthropic, highlighting the ongoing pressure AI companies face on the computing power supply side.
