Verra Mobility, Hertz Expand Technology Partnership to Modernize Toll Processing

04:53 PM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Verra Mobility (VRRM) and Hertz (HTZ) are expanding their technology partnership under a renewed five-year contract to explore ways to modernize toll processing, the companies said late Wednesday. Financial details weren't provided. Verra Mobility will continue providing Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty with an outsourced toll and violations management program across North America, they said. The companies will also explore technologies involving connected-vehicle tolling and artificial intelligence to improve customer convenience and reduce operational complexity, Verra Mobility Chief Technology Officer Jason Rivera said.
