European natural gas futures rose more than 6% this week; TTF gained 9.24% this week.

On Friday, September 4, in late European trading, ICE UK natural gas futures rose by 1.03% to 179.830 pence/therm, marking a cumulative increase of 6.73% for the week, with prices mostly fluctuating at high levels. TTF benchmark Dutch natural gas futures increased by 1.29% to 72.418 euros/MWh, up 9.24% for the week; between August 31 and September 2 during the early Asia-Pacific session, this contract continued its rally and reached a high of 75.339 euros before the gains gradually pulled back. ICE EU carbon emission allowance futures gained 0.47% to 83.40 euros/ton, with a cumulative weekly increase of 1.45%.
