Stocks to Watch: Amgen, Nike, Bloom Energy -- WSJ

Amgen (AMGN): Shares of the biotechnology company, a major contributor to the Dow, shed more than 5% premarket after the Swiss drugmaker Novartis (CH:NOVN) said an experimental medicine failed to reduce cardiovascular risk in a late-stage clinical trial. Amgen and Eli Lilly (LLY) are working on rival treatments. Novartis shares tumbled 10% in Europe, while Eli Lilly shares ticked down.
Bloom Energy (BE): The fuel-cell maker is among the companies that will join the S&P 500 later this month, S&P Dow Jones Indices announced late Friday, sending its shares 4% higher premarket. Meanwhile, Nike (NKE) will be deleted from the S&P 100. Its shares edged lower premarket.
Coinbase Global (COIN), Robinhood Markets (HOOD), Strategy (MSTR): Shares of companies tied to cryptocurrencies retreated in premarket trading as bitcoin's price slipped more than 1% to trade below $78,500.
GameStop (GME) is set to report earnings after markets close.
