Apollo Silver Falls 25% as Ejido Benito Juarez Community Meeting Adjourned

12:23 PM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Silver (APGO.V), down 25% on last look, said the Ejido Benito Juarez community in Chihuahua, Mexico, will call a second community assembly to consider lifting the moratorium on mineral exploration and development on the Cinco de Mayo project, the company said on Monday. The company believes the Sept. 20 meeting was adjourned before business was conducted, due to a lack of quorum. "Ejido processes often take more than one assembly to conclude, and that is the path we have always planned for. Our engagement remains strong as the Ejido moves to reconvene." said chief executive Colin Sutherland Apollo Silver said discussions with the community oversight council suggest the next assembly date will likely be in October.
