Caterpillar to Invest Up to $10 Million in North Carolina Workforce Training

02:04 PM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Caterpillar (CAT) said Thursday it is investing up to $10 million in North Carolina as part of its five-year, $100 million Building the Future Workforce Initiative. The funding will help train current and future workers for jobs in modern manufacturing and industry technician roles. Caterpillar said it is working with local organizations, including Central Carolina Community College and the Sanford Area Growth Alliance, to advance the initiative.
