Apple (AAPL.US) closed on Friday with a market capitalization of $5.03 trillion, surpassing NVIDIA (NVDA.US) at $4.93 trillion to become the world's most valuable publicly traded company. This marks the first time since late July that Apple has regained its lead over NVIDIA. On the day, Apple’s share price dropped 1.2%, while NVIDIA fell 4.2%. Recently, financial reports from Intel (INTC.US) and Amazon (AMZN.US) have intensified concerns in the market about the return on massive capital investments in AI, with Alphabet (GOOG.US) and Meta Platforms (META.US) also facing sell-offs earlier. In contrast, Apple's relatively restrained infrastructure investment and strong free cash flow have allowed it to demonstrate resilience amid the adjustment of tech stocks. Since the beginning of the year, Apple’s share price has risen 27%, while NVIDIA has fallen more than 10% over the past month.
