One of Shiba Inu’s oldest and largest investors is back in the spotlight today with a trillion-dollar token transfer.
According to data shared by on-chain researcher EmberCN, an investor who received approximately 103 trillion SHIB in 2020 for only 37.8 ETH transferred 1.07 trillion SHIB today. The value of the transferred tokens is estimated at approximately $4.94 million.
The value of the Ethereum the investor spent in the initial purchase was approximately $13,700 at the time. Over the years, SHIB’s rise has transformed this small start into a portfolio worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
According to EmberCN, the investor divested a total of 11.73 trillion SHIB through sales in 2021 and this year. The amount obtained from these sales reached approximately $74.74 million.
Despite this, the investor still holds approximately 91.6 trillion SHIB. The researcher’s report states that the total value of these assets is $418 million.
SHIB, one of the main altcoins in the memecoin craze, even surpassed Dogecoin in total market capitalization at one point.
